Christmas 2012 Program and Gift Distribution

As part of our Christmas 2012 schedule we were happy to be able to bring the Joy of Christmas to nearly 200 kindergarten children in a village of northern Serbia. Our program was comprised of lively Christmas songs and a skit that featured a “sad” Anna, who in spite of our numerous attempts to make her happy by offering a variety of toys, candy, and other material gifts, could not be cheered up until we realized it was a “little bit of love” that she needed.

After the program, the Christmas “shoe box” gifts were distributed, thanks to Samaritan’s Purse (U.K.) and all the concerned school children and their parents who pack the shoe boxes full of clothing items, toys, sweets, and other gift items to be sent to Serbia to be given out to needy children.

Because of the Orthodox Christmas that falls each year on January 7th, our Christmas season in Serbia is extended. We look forward to many more opportunities to bring the Joy of Christmas to the children of Serbia.
