Since the summer of 2013 we have been busy distributing donated sets of Lego© and Duplo© to children-at-risk and needy institutions. Our goal is to nurture creative young mindsets by encouraging their intrinsic inborn motivation.

Urgent! Serbia has been devastated by the recent floods and the people need seeds to re-plant their gardens while there is still time. Many have lost everything and are re-building from scratch. Can you help a poor Serbian family trying to recover from their devastating loss to re-plant their garden?
In recent months we have been busy distributing donated sets of Lego© and Duplo© to needy institutions in various countries…we would like to thank the Lego Foundation in Billund, Denmark, for their very generous contribution and help towards this charitable initiative.
After a safe drive down from Scandinavia with a van full of humanitarian aid, we have begun the distribution by visiting Kosovo, a province that is still suffering in the aftermath of political and ethnic turmoil, and wallows in an uncertain limbo regarding its future status. We also have deliveries scheduled for Albania, Moldova, Romania, Hungary, Poland and Serbia.
Some people question why anyone would ever give up a life in a rich, western country to serve sacrificially in an under-developed or war-torn country. There must be some ulterior motive involved, right? Please take a moment to watch the following…
What better reward could anyone want than to see the smiling face on a thankful child? This was the overwhelming emotion we felt throughout the implementation of our latest Healing Hearts Balkans book distribution project.
When discussing how we could best serve this needy area of Kosovo and Serbia where we have lived since 1999, it became obvious that helping to build the character of future generations would have the greatest impact on a country that has suffered through political turmoil and war for over 20 years.
